Notice of access restrictions in Lower Oder Valley National Park due to confirmed cases of African Swine Fever
Due to the official confirmation of several cases of African Swine Fever in wild boar in the Uckermark district in a section of the Lower Oder Valley National Park in the Criewener Polder / Stützkow area, access to this area is restricted.
Only the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path is available for normal pedestrian and tourist traffic. Entering the forests and open countryside is prohibited.
This also applies to the hiking trails “Auenpfad,” “Weg der Auenblicke,” the “Wilden Waldweg,” as well as parts of the Märkischer Landweg and Jakobsweg, which may not be entered.
Please observe the general decree issued by the Uckermark district.
The national park administration and the nature conservation rangers conduct area monitoring as part of their official duties.
We will inform you of any changes or lifting of the closures as quickly as possible.
